Dr. Hannah Dobrzelewski grew up in Ludington, Michigan and quickly found a love for water and Lake Michigan sunsets. Growing up she was heavily involved in the local swim team and also spent fifteen years twirling at the dance studio. After graduating from Ludington High School she attended Oakland University and studied Biology. While at Oakland University, Dr. Dob was a member of the Grizzlies varsity swim team for all four years and served as a captain her senior year. Despite the Ludington-Manistee rivalry, she was welcomed by Coach VanFleet to train with the swim team in Manistee during her college breaks and became an honorary Chippewa.
Dr. Dob continued her studies at Des Moines University where she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed her postgraduate residency training at Ascension Providence in Southfield & Novi Michigan where she was Chief Resident during her final year. She was trained by a large group of attendings and treated a diverse patient population with various foot and ankle pathologies.
Dr. Dobrzelewski has special interests in sports medicine, foot & ankle reconstruction, and trauma. She is very passionate about limb salvage including diabetic foot care and management of Charcot neuroarthropathy.
In her free time, Dr. Dob enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family. Her love for the water is still strong and you can find her on the beach or boating. She has two very spoiled Australian Shepherds at home who keep her active with their love for walks and chasing squirrels. Dr. Dobrzelewski is very humbled to serve the community where she grew up and is eager to provide well rounded care to her patients.
